update on my bimmers...what parts do i need to order?
so, last summer i fucked both of them up (money shifted the Ix and destroyed the diff on the CSI).
I just got the Csi on the road the other day, so now i need to get the Ix ball moving.
as some of you know, i money shifted and broke the timing belt. I need a list of everything i need to order tonight to have it on the road by saterday or sunday. hell, as long as i get it on the road by the 9th of may i'll be happy (george clinton at the brickyard, 26th bDay on the 10th).
and go...

All new valves, just because they don't look bent doesn't mean they don't need replaced. You can get by with taking a grinding stone to the pistons that the valves hit and grind the area smooth so it doesn't create a hot spot. Of course you'll need a timing belt, head gasket, and it's highly not suggested to reuse head bolts. I personally went with ARP ones.
That's the bare minimum Safe Auto style.

It's your call if you want to do the water pump while you're in there, i usually don't bother. Exhaust and intake gaskets will be helpful, but usually you can reuse them.
